Speedy is on its way

After some days fighting with slow internet connection speed, I finally made up my mind to try the available and easy connection from Telkom Indonesia. Yup, it’s speedy. I apply for office unlimited packaged and it has been on since December 18th, 2007. First impression was very exciting. Usually I only have 9Kb/s download speed, now I can reach more than 50Kb/s !!! What a speed…

After the technician from Telkom arrived and set up the modem, I immediately push it to the limit. Below was the speedtest.net result of my speedy connection.

With that speed, up to this day, I already downloaded more than 14Gigs of file… which was never be achieved by my ISP connection. My friends said that I am quite lucky because the STO or let’s called it the Telkom office is just 10 meters from my house so I can have quite a good and stable connection and speed, which is very difficult to achieve by those who are far away from the office.

I hope this quality will last forever because there was tendency that if the number of clients get larger, then surely there will be a decrease in speed and quality. However, I already have a great plan for this connection and I hope it will be realized soon. And of course, still money matters
