The Right Time to Go Shopping

Do you like to go shopping? I bet you all do. Every person in this world surely likes to go shopping if they have the money to spend. Even the lower income households also know the term ‘shopping’. Shopping is all-class activities, and what makes it different is the way they do the shopping and how much they spend their money for shopping. In United States we have what’s so called Black Friday, which is the day after Thanksgiving, where it is the beginning of the traditional Christmas shopping season. In this time of the day, people everywhere spend their time to go shopping for Christmas purposes and that makes the traffic got congested. This is the initial call for Black Friday back in 1975. High-Speed Photography – a DIY project

I recently found the link from one the photography forum which shows a video presentation about the experiment of high speed photography capturing the moment of balloon explosion and CD break using digital camera and DIY sound-triggered flash.

This experiment uses old unused film camera which will be used as the flash, a microphone and digital SLR camera as the equipment for capturing the moment. The first step is breaking apart the film camera and taking its flash unit to be used in the capture process. Then, connect the capacitor unit to the microphone which will be used as the trigger for the flash resulted from the sound of the things to be captured. In this video, the exploded balloon will triggered the flash and in less than 1/100 seconds, the moment of balloon explosion can be captured using digital SLR camera.

Photowalking - good news for my EOS 400D

Photowalking is the act of walking with a camera for the main purpose of taking pictures of things you may find interesting. This term has just recently gained its popularity by the emergence of digital photography. Compared analog photography, digital photography makes photowalking more interesting because every picture taken could be instantly reviewed so that we don’t need to spend a lot of money to process the film to find out how will be the result of the picture taken while walking around. My New EOS400D

This evening, I just got the brand new Canon EOS 400D Digital SLR camera, replacing my old Canon Powershot A640. I hope my creativity and hobby will be fruitful in the near future and I started to search for reference in photography. Although I am not interested in monetizing the camera (meaning: being a professional money maker photographer), I would like to learn about the photography as if I am a professional one. Does Discount Matter to You?

After trying to relieve the pain because of recent Google updates, I find another interesting topic to write. I bet everyone in this commercial world is familiar with the word “discount”. Yes, it is a better way to save our money while buying things, especially in the Internet. Like this time, I found quite astonishing savings from online department stores like Kohls.com, Sears.com, Target.com and Macys.com, where there are so many discount coupons available to save our money for other spending. I search the entire internet and also find out the similar trends for other websites/blogs. Even SEOroundtable has experience major decrese from PR 7 to PR4! Don’t know who to blame?

Do you ever have bad experiences related to accidents? I bet you do. Almost all of us must have accident-related experience ranging from small accident of falling down from a bicycle when we were still kids and trying to make the first paddle in our life, up to major accident involving big vehicles such as in the highway or perhaps even airplane accident. The next question which arises is that whether or not we have enough protection in terms of financial aspect so that we will not suffer more when we have to pay all the hospital charge for the post-accident treatment we spend in the hospital. Am I Addicted to Money?

Been tiring of meeting the job deadlines, I think I have to find something which could make me relaxed. I’ve been sleeping less than 4 hours a day for the last few weeks and this absolutely exhausted me. I have watched all my DVD collections in the middle of deadline hours but it still could not make me feel relieved. In the end, Internet is the last destination for me to release the tension. Then, I remember that some days ago I found fun blog quizzes when crawling the Internet and I just got very exciting to finding good stuffs in the website.
